News from us

1- All the congregation - Date of publication 08-26-2011
We are pleased to take up the thread of our information on the website.

This initial information deals with the experience we had at the beginning of August 2011. After looking back over the past 5 years, we went on to elect the people who will be in charge of the Congregation, taking into account the changes in the structures decided on during the first session of the Chapter in August 2010.
Henceforward, the communities of sisters in the different countries where we are situated are regrouped into 3 regions: Africa, France, Great Britain-Canada-Peru.
Each leader in the region is at the same time member of the Congregational Leadership Team. Together they form the new Leadership Team responsible for the government of the Congregation for the next 5 years.

The General Council is composed of:

Sr Genevieve RALLU, French, Congregational Leader

Sr Marie TIETIE, Ivory Coast, Assistant/Regional Leader for the African region

Sr Colombe GEORGET, French, Assistant/Regional Leader for the French region

Sr Clare KELLY, English, Assistant/Regional Leader for the region Great Britain, Canada, Peru

A look at our orientations for the next 5 years

Firmly attached to the evangelical figure of our foundress Perrine Thulard, a woman rooted in Jesus Christ, passionate about God, passionate for humanity, we are resolved to commit ourselves in the countries where we live to be women for our time, baptised-consecrated, working for justice in solidarity with women in particular, so that they can find their place in the family, the society and the Church.

Without having planned it, we are closely akin to the young people assembled for the World Youth Days around the theme “rooted in and founded on Jesus Christ, confirmed in our faith” proof, if we still need it, that we agree on essentials. That is not surprising as, since the time of Perrine Thulard, the Congregation has always been involved in serving young people and every other person – young or old – in any kind of physical or mental suffering.
May all of us, Christians and people of good will, help each other to become more rooted in Christ and to give ourselves to him according to our particular vocation.
