The Mayor of Evron, former Mother House Employees and their families, were warmly welcomed to the Mother House Community as 6 of the employees received a Medal for their years of service.

The Sister in charge of the Mother House addressed the Mayor:
“We are honoured by your presence; it shows the interest you have for all the people working in this town. This honour bestowed on them is a way of saying thank you and a recognition of the devotion shown by them in caring for the sick, cooking and looking after the house.”

They received

The Silver Medal for 20 years of service

   Thérèse LAPIERRE
    Geraldine LORET
    Berthe ROSSE

The Ruby Medal for 30 years of service
    Patrick LORET

The Gold Medal for 37 years of service
    Marie-Paule MALHERBE
The  Gold Medal for 42 years of service
    Fernande BRUNEAU
The Sister in charge of the personnel said to them:

“The Congregation has asked me to thank you for all the years of service which you have given, each in your own way, to the Sisters Community. These words express the gratitude of all the sisters.
In the name of the Congregation, the Superior General and her Council I want to thank you all for the devotion and availability you have always shown in your work.
We encourage you to continue and our best wishes go to those who have already retired.”

The Mayor then distributed the Medals and all the sisters, families and other colleagues came to congratulate and thank them.
A toast was shared with much laughter and good humour.

Who will be next to receive a medal? When? We will all be there once again for the celebration, because we all enjoy these family events in the community
