- Date of publication 03-11-2010 On Saturday 26th September 2009, Sisters Christine Ibo and Perpétue Pauline Somé made their First Profession in the presence of the priests, sisters, parishioners, relatives, associates, and friends who had gathered together for the occasion.
Three times Sister Pauline, the formation director, called them and they responded: "You have called me Lord, here I am."
The Eucharist was celebrated by Father Justin Déguenon and St Christopher's Church choir sang some beautiful hymns.
The sister's vows of poverty, chastity, obedience were received by Sister Marie Tiétié, regional delegate.
It was a simple ceremony, beautiful and moving, and ended with a festive meal at the Sisters house.
On 29th September the sisters left the formation community to spend some time with their families and then moved to their respective communities.
Sister Christine has gone to Bécédi and Sister Pauline to Lakota.
Congratulations Sisters!
And may God in His love fill you will all the graces you need for the mission entrusted to you.
