A Treasure to be shared

The differences between religious Congregations of Apostolic Life are as varied as the differences between our human families, because the founder or foundress gave a particular orientation to the religious family he or she created. For us, the personality of Perrine Thulard and her charism, that is to say, the gospel value to which she was attentive: “what you do to the least of these little ones you do to me” has influenced generations of sisters.

Young people, former students, work colleagues, friends or acquaintances were nourished by this spirit and are still being nourished by it today. Many are attracted by the evangelical attitudes of her message: “charity, simplicity, unity, humility”. All of these elements constitute the spiritual treasure which we take pride in sharing with young people, men and women, of the different countries in which the sisters of the Congregation are present. These people take the message of Perrine and make it their own; some become associates with the sisters to continue to give life, in their own professional, familial, socio-cultural milieu, to the original intuition of this woman who lived her faith in her ordinary day to day living.

Some young people ask for help to discover this way of living their christian life in the ordinariness of day to day life, by following Jesus in the footsteps of Perrine Thulard, born in 1654 and foundress of the “Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady of Evron”, whose Mother House is in Mayenne, France.

The dynamic impetus of this school of spirituality is made to live on. That is why we love and wish to share it with many.

In each country the sisters, lay men and women, young people are organized to meet in groups for reflection and prayer.

If you would like to become an associate, these are the contact people in each country.
